COLORADO RWS PRACTITIONERS!

I’ve got a fun in person gathering in the works and I hope you can join!

I’m planning a gathering for RWS practitioners in Colorado for this winter. There are so many of us in Colorado these days and I thought it would be fun to get together! I can’t wait to meet you and have a really amazing weekend together!

This will be held in Buena Vista, CO the last weekend in January (Friday, Jan 26-Sun Jan 28). I’ve got a great venue with comfy seats and a big screen and ability to project slides if needed.

There are plenty of vacation rental properties here and mid winter should be the best rates of the year.

I am excited to lead some group discussions to get to know each other on both personal and professional levels - and there will be an opportunity for others to give presentations or offer workshops on whatever topics you like. I envision a mix of substantive functional nutrition sharing, practice management, collaboration opportunities, personal growth, self care, and my current favorite - food culture and the connection between food, health and sustainability.

I also want to create space for plenty of socializing and enjoying this beautiful place as well. Option to spend some time up at the hot springs, hikes (or snowshoe/ski depending on weather), yoga and shared meals.

I’m SO EXCITED to see as many of you Colorado practitioners as possible in person this winter!

If there is enough interest, I will secure the venue and make it official!

There will be a charge for this but my goal is to keep it affordable and offer a few discounted tickets for those who need it. I’ll be announcing the price as soon as possible but still working on the logistics.

Apply to give a talk or lead a workshop

This is your opportunity to give a talk about your work, share a case study, lead a discussion, talk about new research, share business opportunities, ask for help with a project, or whatever you are inspired to share with our community. The programming will be largely driven by what people want to offer so this is your chance to share your interests!

Don’t worry if you don’t have a fully fleshed out idea yet. Share what you’re thinking about and there will be an opportunity to refine it in the next few weeks.
